I’m just Learning and going about it like a blank canvas. You need to realise everyone will do something differently. So as much as those two course may be shown wrong. They will still make the same sound. Nice site.

hey,,,give Brett a break. No one’s perfect & the hand postion pictures are great even though the number finger could be wrong. You just keep on Brett and forgive those who are quick to correct errors. “It would be different if you didn’t show a picture,” which by the way is better than words as the ole’ saying goes!
I appreciate the photo’s and it’s you’re great aid to we not so perfect musicians!

Great pictures! The A Major chord is wrong with the finger placement. Finger one should be used on the D string, not number 2.
This is a really a great sit to teach my beginners. Thanks so much!!!!Bob

surely the D Major chord here is wrong: it says: 1 3
2

but wouldn’t it make more sense to have: 1 2
3

I read this position somewhere else, and it looks like the photograph is also in the latter postion.

how much time does it require for the fingers to get calloused ? it hurts like hell man. i play acoustic rhythm guitar. Pluto(R)
