Welcome to Guitar Friendly! Whether you’re a beginning guitar player or one that’s been playing for awhile, my hope is that you would find something here that will help you become a better guitar player.
First, my name is Brett, and I’m the guy behind this guitar blog.
I have been playing guitar for around 10 years now. Right now, I am a college student studying full time for a degree in music ministry in the church. The major is sort of a mix between music, bible, theology, and your general college courses.
I’ve also played piano since I was six. I also mess around on some other instruments like drums, but I would hardly consider myself a drummer. All to say, I love music, and I love to watch others grow in their music.
My hope is that this blog would be a helpful and insightful resource for those just beginning at guitar and also those who’ve been playing for awhile but want to improve their playing.
Guitar Friendly hopes to present the techniques necessary to play the guitar well in an easy and understandable way–a “friendly” way if you will.
